Proclear Multifocal 6

Description

The Proclear multifocal is a soft contact lens that can be worn for up to a month. It is made from omafilcon B with a water content of 62% and is used to correct presbyopia.
It uses two optic zones to guarantee the wearer excellent vision of objects that are far away, nearby and in between these. This means that there are actually two types of lens here: a D lens for the dominant eye and an N lens for the non dominant eye. This system ensures that the wearer is able to enjoy a high degree of visual comfort at all distances.
The material is very good at binding water, which means the lens surface is constantly being wetted. As the material is also non ionic, hardly any deposits are able to form on the lens.
There are two things that are vitally important regarding the handling of this lens: Do not clean
your Proclear Toric lenses manually, as hardly any deposits form on them, and wet your lenses with saline solution or rewetting drops before taking them out.
