Typically, these peroxide tablet one-step systems start neutralizing the peroxide the moment the tablet and the peroxide are combined. So no matter how quickly lenses are placed into the solution, if lenses are exposed to 3% peroxide's full potency, it's not for long.
NEW BLUEvision? was formulated to eliminate this shortcoming of one-step soft contact lens peroxide tablet systems. BLUEvision's innovative Triple Coating tablet delays the start of neutralization for a full 40 minutes so lenses are more throroughly disinfected because they are exposed to 3% peroxide for a longer time than with other systems. After the neutralization process, which takes 6 hours and is signaled complete by the solution turning blue, the lenses remain in the now-gentle solution, which is similar in composition to natural tearfilm, ready for insertion.

Natural Color Indicator
The colorant responsible for the light blue tint indicating BLUEVISION? has been neutralised is obtained from a Japanese blue algae. Because of its natural composition it is frequently used in food, cosmetics and medicine. The large molecular structure of this pigment also prevents coloration of the lens material.
